Corden visited Warner Bros. Studios in a segment filmed ahead of the HBO Max Friends reunion, and he picked up the cast of the iconic series in a golf cart to perform the theme song, “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts, complete with their signature handclaps and a hug between Aniston and LeBlanc. Corden, who hosted the Friends reunion, meandered about the sets of Joey and Chandler’s and Monica and Rachel’s apartments, noting that he actually felt more nostalgic for the fictional Manhattan pads than he had for any place he’d ever lived himself in real life. He then headed to Central Perk and joined the rest of the cast who were perched on their signature couch. Once on the set, the cast reminisced on their good times and reflected on how it felt to reunite after 17 years since the series finale. “It was really emotional to be on the set,” Schwimmer said. “To be in the same room all together after all this time was really beautiful.” Both LeBlanc and Aniston admitted that they didn’t realize “how hard it would hit us” being on the set again for the first time. LeBlanc beamed as he sat in one of the on-set coffee shop’s cushy armchairs. “We spent a lot of time in these sets, had a lot of laughs—some of it made it on the camera, but the funniest stuff that happened between us that never made it to TV, those are the memories that we keep talking about,” he gushed. America, the whole world never saw some of that stuff, but the six of us—these five people right here—mean the world to me. They’re really, really awesome." He added jokingly, “Not Schwimmer so much.” The cast then took a “Best Friends Test” with Corden, where they unanimously said Kudrow broke character and laughed the most on set. “I have no training, no discipline,” Kudrow said, with Schwimmer saying, “She’s also got the best laugh ever.” LeBlanc revealed that Aniston also chuckled quite a bit on set, and that if you watch the series closely for her gestures, you’ll be able to pick up on the habit. Aniston stole the most items from wardrobe (including a black turtleneck from the show that she wore in the reunion!), Aniston and LeBlanc watched the most episodes on TV and that Schwimmer and Aniston are the best dancers. When asked which friend would always be there for them when the rain starts to fall, the cast sweetly all pointed to everyone else.
