Although Prince William was among those who arrived at Balmoral, a grim-faced Duchess Kate was pictured driving near the Windsor estate where she and her family recently moved into their fourth home. She remained behind to collect her children from their first full day at their new school of Lambrook in Berkshire. Yesterday Prince George 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, were pictured arriving at the school for a ‘settling-in day’ with their parents. Duchess Meghan also stayed behind in England while Prince Harry headed to Scotland. The couple had been scheduled to attend the WellChild Awards in London this evening. Meghan is mostly likely staying at the Sussexes’ UK home of Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate. Meanwhile Kate is less than 900 yards away in her new home of Adelaide Cottage. The royals that are currently at Balmoral include King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as Princess Anne. All three were already at the castle when the queen’s health deteriorated. A private jet carrying Prince William along with the queen’s sons Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, as well as Edward’s wife Countess Sophie, landed at Aberdeen Airport before a fleet of private cars whisked them to Balmoral.
