White, who has held a series of iconic roles over the years including Michael “Pizza Face” Parisi on Law & Order SVU, Kevin Miller in Movie 43, and Shameless’ Phillip ‘Lip’ Gallagher, now plays Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto; an edgy chef with scruffy hair, a sticker-book-style set of tattoos, and a painfully raw backstory centered around deep loss. His character’s rough-around-the-edges look and relatable storyline have allured a nationwide audience of people hungry for more of the FX hit. And they’ve taken their appetite to Twitter, in hopes that thirsting over the star will somehow satiate their cravings.  One user tweeted: “I’m actively in therapy to help me stop falling in love with men who look like this but The Bear on Hulu is worth the mental set back.” Another claimed that they could “fix him.” And still, the lusting continued… Some less-thirsty users also hopped aboard the meme train and commiserated over the chaos of working in a commercial kitchen and relatability of White’s character.  Others, used the chance to shoot their shot at securing a call for the next round of casting for the show.  While others made jokes about picking up the show’s lingo.  The impact of the memes is far greater than just a good laugh, with many Twitter users admitting the jokes have made them want to watch the show (myself included). Season one of The Bear is now streaming on Hulu. And for those who just can’t get enough, you’ll be happy to know it has officially been renewed for a second season–and yes, Twitter users are most certainly taking credit for that.  Next, Your Guide to the 2022 Emmy Award Nominations
